Code of Ethics

1. Confidentiality:
I will not reveal anything that a client tells me without his/her approval. I will hold all written and verbal communication with a client 100% confidential.

2. Honesty:
I will interpret a reading to the best of my ability and will honestly admit when I cannot interpret something.
I will always tell the truth and interpret the cards impartially, regardless of my personal opinion.

3. Nonjudgmental:
I will always provide readings with compassion and in a nonjudgmental manner. I welcome clients of all cultures, religions, spiritual paths, sexual orientations, and gender identity.

4. Expertise:
I will not give advice in areas for which I am not qualified. If the client needs a physician, psychologist, lawyer, financial advisor, accountant, or any other professional service for which I am not qualified, I will encourage him or her to seek such service from someone who is qualified in that area. However, I might help them choose between two options but I’ll decide that according to the question and the situation.

5. Empowerment:
I will let my clients know that the future is never etched in stone and thus that they have the power to change their future!
I will strive to help my clients leave a reading feeling empowered to make practical, life-affirming decisions.

I might also suggest some spiritual healing remedy at the end of the reading according to the religious and spiritual preferences of the querent. For example, I might suggest some Asma-e-Hasna recitation to my Muslim clients but that will be purely according to the situation and the comfort level and demand of my client and I won’t have any monetary or another benefit in such suggestion. Also, practicing or not will be purely my client’s own choice.

6. My Knowledge:
I will constantly strive to improve my Tarot reading skills and to always be learning and growing.

7. Uplifting:
I will strive to make each reading a blessing for everyone involved.
I will be encouraging and try to leave my clients with a sense of renewed strength and hope.

8. Independence:
I will not let my clients become overly dependent upon my services, nor pressure them for return visits.

9. Payment:
I will take payment in advance but I might return the payment if the client is not satisfied after the reading.
I reserve the right to refuse to read for any client, but even in that case, I will return any compensation for such a reading.

10. Refusal: I reserve the right to refuse to do a reading for a question that I feel I cannot answer, or one that goes against my code of ethics.

11. Professional conduct:
Since the future is always changeable, I will never scare a client by predicting the inevitability of physical death.
I will at all times maintain an ethical and professional relationship with my clients.
I will not abuse a client’s trust and vulnerability for my own personal benefit.
I will treat my professional colleagues with respect.
